SAILING CLUB

5KSC is the North Western Yacht Division of the Civil Service Sailing Association (CSSA).

We are based in Liverpool and offer low cost sailing opportunities to all public sector staff and their family and friends.

Join Us

Join to benefit from the reduced rates the CSSA offers. Club membership is open to all public sector employees and also to their family and friends through linked membership.

Sail With Us

You do not need to be a member of either 5 Kingdoms or the Civil Service Sailing Association (CSSA) to start sailing with us and we encourage everyone. We also offer Taster Sails

Train With Us

We are a recognised RYA training centre and have RYA approved instructors who can offer competent crew, day skipper and coastal skipper courses.

Tasters

We will be offering Taster Sails on our yacht on the Mersey over this Autumn and Winter. These will be bookable on the CSSC website using Nutickets see https://store.cssc.co.uk/sports/sailing.html. You need to be a CSSC member to book but you can bring a non member along for an additional (larger) fee. Please bring warm clothing…

AGM 2025

The 2025 AGM will be held 15/11/25 at the Holiday Inn Express at the Albert Dock Liverpool, as we have done in the last few years, the meeting starts with lunch and the meeting will be at 13:00
